Hey, well i have heard from some people it shoudl be done at 100 000km, some say between 100 000 and 150 000, and then the owners manual says 168 000. can someone that owns a civic or is a mechanic at a honda dealer please suggest me on when i should change the belt.

I would assume you should just follow your owner's manual and you should be fine. But i've always heard to change it at 100000kms.

My mechanics tells me that my Civic SiR should change the timing belt at every 80,000km. I guesss it applies to all other civic as well.

I got it done @ 100. Buddy's didn't change his Teg til 150. Another buddy didn't change his pass 160, broke and need a new engine.

So I'll say anywhere between 100-150 would be safe bet.
