WTB: 4X4 under $1000

Looking for a decent running 4x4 for under $1000.
Not really interested in fords but will consider almost anything.
Just looking for a toy to take offroading and to haul parts.

i got a perfect parts hauler its an 89 toyota 4runner converted into a truck its a pretty nice little rig 4x4 works great only really problem is that the t-case leaks a little. the most i could work it down to though is probably 1200
