Audi S4 opinoins

I have been looking at the 2000-2002 Audi S4's lately, they seem to be a great all round car luxry/preformance. 2.7l turbo al wheel drive. Any opinions or experiences with these cars??

I have one, their amazing cars - an excellent balance of practicality and performance. A $1000 chip brings you safely to 310hp up from 250 and 375 lb/ft of torque up from 258. There is absolutely no sacrifice in drivability and your on par with an M3 performance wise. Every S4 is AWD. Make sure you get the 6 speed. The only downside is that if you do not do cheap preventative maitenence (swaping certain parts), then it may cost you alot of money as those things break. You need to upgrade the diverter valves and throttle body boot (both cheap), especially if you chip it. Also, you need to make sure to turbo time it, either manually or with a turbo timer. The only options are Bose stereo, sunroof and on 2001+: stability control. In my opinion and most car magazines, AUDI makes the nicest interiors, and everything just seems right how it should be for that class of car. The hardest part is finding one.

There are also forums with insane amounts of techincal support, with people who upgrade/work on them all day long for a living.
