Hi there,

Selling my 1G Datalogger for DSM (Laser, Eclipse, Talon 1990-94). Practically brand new, realized my laptop doesnt have a serial port and I dont have a Palm either.

Connects through a DB9 PC serial COM port or a Pocketlogger with a serial cable. I am including all the software I picked up online.

INFO:

DataLogger Interface For OBDI DSM 1G

B2K DataLogger Interface is a "black box" that connects to the diagnostic port on your 1st Generation ('90-'94) DSM car. B2K DataLogger Interface is a specially designed cable that connects to a Laptop (PC) and/or to a Palm device. This small and efficient unit reads all the information coming from your Engine Control Unit (ECU) such as:

RPM
Knock Sensor
Timing Advance
O2 Sensor
Injector Duty Cycle
Air Volume
Air Temperature
Air Flow
Throttle Position
Coolant Temperature
Alternator output
Barometer
ISC Steps
Accel Enrich
O2 Trim
Fuel Trim High
Fuel Trim Mid
Fuel Trim Low
Can read Engine Code Errors (Check Engine light)
Can test Solenoids like: Injectors, Fuel pump, Boost, EGR, and more

Oh yeah, looking to get $75 for it, which includes a Palm III case for mounting.

Here is a sample of what it will look like on a palm:

You can get a converter to convert your USB port to a serial port.

Or you can convert your parallel port to a serial port.

Is this a TechnoMotive Datalogger?

As he said - it is made by B2K (A guy in Quebec). I have one made by that guy and it works fine for me on my laptop.

I don't think TMO really makes stuff anymore do they? If I remember right, they don't do ECU's anymore....

How did you run this? Story of my life (women, cars, etc.): if you cant get it to work, sell it.

w3apon - will also work on a 1g 3si

oh yeah and I believe TMO folded, which is the big reason why they released the schematic for the cable.

make sure your laptop has a serial port or you are willing to shell out a couple of bucks for a palm with a serial cable

It would probably take some tweaking to get it to work with a parallel port, but it should be capable.

Personally, I just found a laptop that was old and already had the serial port ;)

I know I'll be waiting for the women to come for sale, I bid $5!
