Hows everyone doing?

Anyways I need some tips on how to do a good parallel parking job. I'm gonnna be doin my license exam and just need some pointers on how to do a good parallel parking.

I remember that my driving instructor said have my rear bumper along the other cars rear bumper while beside it. Then I get a 45 degrees angle, straighten out the steering wheel and backup. The problem i'm having is how much do i backup?

I always backup too much or too little.

Please post your techniques on parallel parking

Thanks

Practice here: http://www.ebaumsworld.com/pparkgame.html

I think nothing says it more then: PRACTISE. From your description it looks like what I was taught as well, but practise, practise, practise.

my technique is kinda weird, but i look through my rear view mirror. i back up straight until i see the sidewalk all the way across the other side on the mirror and that's when i start turning the opposite direction for the final backup.
