At first when I got my ipod I didn't but now I find that I purchase music out of sheer convinience. I still download much of the really popular stuff on Limewire though.

I buy all my music through iTunes now....it's still way cheaper than buying a cd and way more convenient....plus, it's not stealing.

I'd rather spend $0.99 on a song then spend the time trying to find a decent version for free.

Only piss off is you can't burn MP3 CD's with I-tunes. Anyone know a way around that?

Too bad the quality is shit. I have bought 1 song cause I didn't want to buy the whole album and I couldn't find it anywhere else. I was pretty disappointed in the quality.

Burn it as a wav on a CD-RW and then rip again. That is the only way (from the research I have done).

I find the quality quite good actually.

I've bought a bunch of stuff, usually hard to find remixes and whatnot that would take forever to find on Limewire. Quality has always been great.

Only thing that sucks is that its in a wierd file format that you can only play on the iPod or through iTunes or burn into a .WAV CD.

Me too but I have an Apple and it saves it as an ACC file so I don't know what kind of file you get with a PC. I don't use it lots but my wife does and at $0.99 a song it's pretty cheap. I also like to pay for my stuff unlike the new generation that expects music for free.

I've spent quite a bit of money buying songs off Itunes... it's always been good for me.... except when I forgot to back it up and my computer crashed on me :(
