SOLD SOLD SOLD FOR $1500

Up for sale is my 88 Prelude 2.0S, 257,000km, 5spd. Over $2k in repairs over the last 30xxxkm, great mechanical condition, second owner. I've bought a new car and need to sell.

good

- Power factory sun roof
- H4 projector kit headlights with PIAA extreme white bulbs
- Good interior
- 4 Goodyear Regatta + 4 Goodyear all-winter-radials lots of tread left ($139 each), all on stock rims + 4 original hubcaps.
- Pioneer mp3/cd/xm deck (P7600MP $359 in 05) with 4 aftermarket Pioneer speakers. Two 2-way x 180W in front and two 3-way x 220?W in rear. (Wired for Sub and amp but not installed)

repairs (most recent at the top)

- Replaced weak fuel pump ($340)
- Replaced drivers Rear tail light
- Rear Brakes done
- Rear sway bar links
- Alternator (2 years parts and labor warranty) and battery (3 year warranty) last winter ($384)
- Muffler: Goerlich MSL/Maximum 240k ($500)
- Oil pan gasket ($394)
- Windshield ($267)
- Fuel pump / filter 231k
- Timing belt / water pump 207k
- brakes 201k
- Power steering hose 194k
- Rear ball joints 192k
- Front ball joints 187k
- Radiator 187k
- Clutch assembly / flywheel 183k

not so good

- Passenger window is stuck (can't roll down - belt off?)
- Some rust (see pics)
- horn does not work (could be fixed for $50)
- A/C does not work

recent oil change and almost free safety inspection from my mechanic because he knows whats been replaced.

Fun reliable car and good on gas.

I also have all receipts from the day it was purchased from the dealership (1988):D. (I am 2nd owner).

Asking $1600 OBO with winter tires.

The receipt reads like this:

labor

r+r exhaust + crossover + replaced leaking oil pan gasket + oil tube + replaced exhaust seal + changed oil filter ($220)

set choke + adj carb-lean + lube linkage ($35)

parts

1 oil pan gasket $94.75
1 oil tube incl.
5L oil incl.
1 filter incl.
1 exhaust gasket sealer ring $18.66

total labor: $255
total parts: $113.41
gst: $25.79
total: $394.20

I could have been gouged, I'm not sure...

Bump... want to sell so price is now $1400 FIRM. This car will last for another 200,000km easy. I've heard of 3gen Prelude's lasting over 800,000km on original engine!!

Even Elmo at Elmo's Automotive ltd. on 32ave said this was a good car. btw Elmo is a well trusted Japanese import specialist with over 22 years in Calgary.

To answer some common questions, I'm in Woodbine (SW) and yes it has a block heater.
