View Full Version : Motegi and Rota rims

I was looking at some 16" rims to replace my 17" on my Yellow ITR. Saw some decent and affordable ones at STRD. I like some of the Motegi 5 and 6 spokes, and may be the Rota Slipstream or Circuit 10. Any opinions on these wheels?

You should get the Motegi Traklite 2's. Those are :bigpimp: They're super lightweight rims too.

Some people view Motegi as a lower brand when it comes to wheels. When it comes to the rota slipstreams I prefer a wheel with more spokes but it is all personal preference. If I could do it all over again I would have went with something like the 57S Gram lights. In fact they look somewhat similar to our stock wheels.

Hey Allan have you narrowed down your choices to a couple yet?
Maybe try and post up pics of the rims and your car and see which one gets the most votes. But IMO you should just buy whatever you think looks best for your car.
Your car will look insanely nice no matter what you put on it anyways hahaha :poosie:

IMO Slipstreams look good on just about any car, they have a bunch of colour options, and they're nice and light. They're not really "bling" if that's what you're after, but they should be good for performance :thumbsup:

The slips look good, but now the brakes look bad by comparison :rofl:

Yeah need to paint something, or put some color on the rim lips.

Heh I just went to Motegi's website to check out the wheels...and they are all FWD offset. Funny, for a website with so many instances of the word, "drift."
