so i've never really posted here or anything before,
i'm just curious as to what insurance costs are going to be like
on a rhd car. i'm picking one up tomorrow and i'm just wondering
if anyone knows any good company's to deal with or anything..
i'm with ing insurance with a totally clean driving record, and
they said i'd be bumped up to about $240 a month with the bare
minimum i need to get the car on the road. any help would be nice,
thanks.

mine isnt too bad, i have clean record and with collision pay 190 with AMA. They just valued my car and insured me to that, not that it was a RHD or anything.

So you have to get an appraisal first?

the lady said i wouldn't need an appraisal unless
i wanted to put collision on the car. she seemed kind of
dumb though so i don't know, i know alot of the bigger
companies won't even take you seriously if you tell them
it's rhd. but i have a good month to worry about that anyways,
i still have to put a new motor in the thing. haha.
