Anybody know if it is possible for police to impliment photoradar at night or dusk hours? I saw a flash behind me driving down towards 17th this weekend, but it was around 10'ish, so I am wondering if it is possible for them to run it during darker hours. :dunno:

I was with a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago and he and 3 cars behind him got one on glenmore at about 11:30 :dunno:

ya...they can still use them

are you sure it wasn't the red light camera? there is one on the corner by humpties

you bet they do, just go down 14st between john laurie and 16 ave and you will see a photoradar van parked there past 11.

It wasn't a red light, it was up around the Mac's.

wait which way were you going? are you talking about the mac's off 11th by the co-op?

cause there is a red light camera on 9th and 11th by the ford dealership.

They can use those things anytime, night or day. I think the only thing that affects it is rain and/or snow?

It was down from the turnoff from Crowchil, by the Emergency Pet Hospital.

They use the p.r. van's along the playground zone on Elbow, before 5th St. SW. until 10pm some nights. I got flashed there last summer around 9:30, but never got a ticket in the mail.

^^ yeah anytime, why not have photoradar at night? i can spot those vans from so far away but at night much much harder. one thing i would do if i was police chief have cops sit at every playground zone at dusk and give people tickets. i can still see the sun and people just cruise right through them.....but just MO
