Hi,
My car is a recently fixed chevy celebrity '88 2.8L v6
My car is old and quite rusty, I'm not ready to invest alot of money into it. I'm currently driving on a spare tires and another heavily worn tire.
I want to buy 2 used tires and all I know is that I need size:
P185/75R14 89S
I know how to spot a worn tire, but thats all can do. I don't what else should be checked, from the inside and outside. I just dont wanna be deceived by the shop where I'm going to, since I'm dealing with used merchandise (yes, I know that it is the downside of buing used stuff, but I still wanna choose to pay twice less for used and do some other repairs for my car with the saved money).
-Basically, what is the most important thing to look for when buying used tires?
-Should the 2 tires be from the same make?
-Is it better to have the 2 new (used) tires I'm planning to purchase placed at the front or the rear of the car?
