WTB: car ~$5000

I'm looking for a commuter car. Work has me driving 50kms a day to and from, so I'm looking for something good on gas and reliable. Not looking for a fixxer upper, and not looking for rice that is made of gold. 5 spd preferably and needs A/C.

First thing that comes to mind is a civic hatch. But something similar in terms of longevity and reliability also considered. pm me with what you have.

I've got a 93 Mazda MX-6 LS...175,000kms, 5spd, A/C, sunroof etc...bone stock.

94 Mazda Mx3 GS fully loaded. Except leather 130xxx km wont need anything done for a very long time.
