The sections are protien look just fine although much is open to inturpretation. The article is written extremely biased as if its entirely fact, where as its theory. Most on protien I agree with, other parts have to scratch my head about and wonder where he thought of that.

Just keep it simple, you dont need a huge guide like that, that said I've made the mistake of reading them too...
start with 1.5g /kg, dont grow? eat more. get fat? eat less. Theres my guide, your welcome lol.

Seriously though, I'm not an old motherfucker preaching, I'm caught the crowd that never had internet growing up in the 80's, wasn't even worth using until the early 90's for business only or BBS.. but not bodybuilding guides, your guide the was biggest and oldest guy in your gym for one, books and magazines. Ok I'll just end it there and make it quick...

We thought we had it right then, now we think we have it right although lately it seems that thats not true lol.
MY POINT IS, learn the early level biochem as in that guide relatating to protien (not relying on ONE source because hes clearly biased in his statements, but who isnt thats why you read more than one...) and such and save some time, because if you dive right in and make yourself an 'expert', next year you're a newbie and you wasted all that...
When we thought we were right back then, we still grew, we're growing now and I'm sure it won't change. All these little new break throughs aren't for you and me, theyre for people trying to break records or be the next Mr.O to get that 0.00000001% edge the other guy hasn't read yet on the can. Lots of protien, carbs and moderate good fats, lift, you'll grow.

http://bodybuilding.com = worst site for good weight lifting advice ever... unless you trust so-called studies posted by 165lb 16 year old kids that think they know what the %^$# they're talking about.

Take anything you read there with a grain of salt, and look elsewhere for real experience-based lifting advice. Try http://www.ironaddicts.com

Iron Addict, the person not the forum he runs of the same name, is a great guy, we mod at some of the same boards.
