I really don't know much about it but I really enjoy some of it, especially piano sonatas and cello stuff. I'm trying to make a good playlist but I have no idea what to look for.

so far I have Beethoven Piano Sonata No. 14 on the list.. thats about it. Any suggestions :)

also, I also loved William Orbit's Adagion For Strings (techno).. wondering what a good original classical piece of that is?

Haven't heard that song by William Orbit, however here are some suggestions.

Mussorgsky- Pictures at an Exhibition (The Great Gate of Kiev)
Mussorgsky- A Night on Bare Mountain
Bach- Brandenburg Cocnerto No. 3 in G major
Bach- Violin Concerto No. 2 in E major
Pachelbel- Suite No. 6 in B flat major for strings
Beethoven- Piano Concerto No. 5 Op. 19
Grieg- Holberg Suite Op. 40

Best of luck compiling your playlist.

If you were a Fantasia fan, Dance of the Reed Flutes is compulsary.
