Blends with the car is kind of what I'm after, goign with 5% tint on all 7 windows, possibly shadowline on trim *depending* then eventually a set of HRE 19's Black w/ Polished lip.

Well over the last 2 weeks I think I would have gotten a ticket. Car was impounded and stopped by a few officers and not one mentioned it. Been followed/trailed, passed cops on Deerfoot, nothing happened so far.

imo that looks great but putting 7% tint with black taillights and black rims is a bit too much black

Reason we blacked out these is to see what it would look like, if we kept them black they need to be redone anyways, I will try and get osme better pictures, the other reason is the passenger side tail is cracked, when they were red/amber you could see it, when they are black you can't. All red = New tails + Red Tint Spray.

Blacked out tails remind me of cheap ass GTO tail light covers on 87 iroc z's.....or the 14.99 bottle of smoke spray paint from crappy tire. It looks ghetto imo, you drive a bimmer, not a cavalier, keep it classy.

Beyern Type 5
2 + 2 = 4 rims = 1 set.


Eventually a staggard set of Lakewood Wheel and Tire 19" rims, or HRE 19"s like Clem's that he's selling.

Black's just nasty. If you paint your tail lights, at least load it with clear coat. I understand you said you're not done, but keep it classy with a 7 series..

I painted my tail lights and clears and I loaded them with clearcoat. I used VHT nightshades

but for you, ALL RED FTW!

When you get wheels, please get HUGE spacers and push those wheels out too!! Then maybe a new rear bumper, and a lip for the front. Also lower the front more, a smaller lip spoiler, and .....yeah those are my suggestions :P

This is like asking about black wheels.

I do not like black wheels at all (polished lip is o.k), do what you like.

I like the all reds I guess.

Yah I'd like a lip for the front, problem is no one makes just a simple little lip, only body kits, and there is only one bodykit I have found so far that is for the iL and I don't like it that much.

I think I'm going to try and find some lower springs for the front but I may end up having to get H&R to heat them up and make them race springs cause these sports aren't low enough.

My brother used Canadian tire clear on my tails. Turned out perfect.

Very light coats every 10 min then allow it to dry for 1 day.

Also, the small mods keep the car looking sick.

Look at yours, then the one below.

First thing I noticed was exhaust - yours is very far apart, the other car has a very nice looking one.

Then painted chrome, sweet, that really changes the look.

Finally, those wheels are sick.

Whatever you do, it will look sweet - I personally like the black on yours, remember I commented when we were squealing through the turn off from 16th to sarcee?

All reds look far classier. The problem with your tails is that they are unevenly painted and dull. Keep in mind that you drive a full size family sedan, not a civic so do the mods accordingly. If you decide to keep the black tails, you need to have them redone with some clear coat on them to make them look shiny.

red looks good on jdm stylized cars, on bimmers black definatly takes the win. black tails look sweet on those bigger luxury cars. also i had my tails on my old cressida blacked out with the nightshades dye and drove around for over a year with absolutly no problems whatsoever. if u make it look like shit by not taking ur time then i think that the police could possibly notice it. if u do take ur time and do the dye and the clear they will prob think they are aftermarket tails and are dot apporved. just my $0.02.
