anyway to unzip a locked rar file

i just downloaded a movie, and it asked for a password and told me i have to follow a bunch of stupid ass steps to get a password, and i did it but the password isnt working and its pissing me off, is there any program thatll just bust open the file and copy it onto my computer?.. thanks in advance

nope the file is useless... with out the password...

Basically if its more than 6 charecters, it not worth the time or effort to try and hack the pass word, using Brute force...

Usually the password is the website you obtained it from or from who ripped it. And most often, it's in the filename.

Also, check for comments left by users wherever you downloaded it from.

check the comments where you got the torrent (if it's a torrent) or try a search for <filename> password

Does the file you downloaded have a website in the name of the file? If so that should be the password. Hopefully.....
