iPod A/V Cable Problem

I just purchased the A/V kit for my iPod and I'm having difficulty setting it up.

I tried hooking it up to my receiver in all (I think I did) the inputs and nothing happened.

When I plugged it into my TV, however, it worked alright.

My question to you guys is where am I going wrong? Thanks.

you sure you had it on the right input setting for your receiver?

Well, I ran through every input again. No dice. It still works in the TV, so I'm beginning to think it's a defective jack on the back of the unit.

So...anybody know of any reputable A/V repair shops in Calgary? Thanks!

I did my through my stereo at home and I didnt have any problems. Did you try having it on AUX, thats how I got mine to work.
