I would say with a 2.3 its not that desirable.

@ 5K it's not that desirable either.

i honestly dont think 5k is really that bad considering you get a brand new motor and tranny which were both 1500 a peice...they both still have 1.5 years warranty on them both.....plus all the other new stuff

This post will probably get deleted but I will try and make it constructive anyhow.

I understand where you are coming from trying to recoup some of your investment into the car, however, you will not get what you are asking for this car. Of that I am certain.

Being a former mustang owner and enthusiast and literally seen 100's of mustangs been sold, I would guess that between $1750-2500 would be a fair asking price.

To get $5000 for this car it would not only have to be Mint on the exterior and interior but have an original engine/tranny with low km's.

Hope this helps with your sale.

Good Luck,

Dustin

First of all if you didn't read my first post it is an original tranny and motor just fully rebuilt...and i think 10k is low for km plus they both still have warranty.....Plus as for other mustangs alot of the ones that sell for cheap have over 200k on the engine and tranny and have other problems as well......and as for the price that just what i am asking i am not firm on the price but even at 2500 I would not even consider selling it....the engine and tranny alone are worth more than that let alone the whole car.....

but its not how much u have invested it how much its worth, u will never get what u put into a car back unless it on a fairly new car.

It doesn't matter how much you put into it, you need to make it roadworthy/safe/reliable to even get anything for it. So if it's worth 1700 or 2000 or whatever in working condition, that's what its worth no matter how much you put into it to get it going. There are also alot of other parts in that car besides engine/tranny - how many KM on chassis?

Exactly. I'm selling a 1990 5.0L on here right now. I bought it 3 years ago for $4000 and have since put easily $5-6000 more into it. I'm asking $4500. There's just no chance of recouping your money on these cars.
