I'll assume your talking about the CAI, if you've got a d16y8, and the pipe is only 2.5" then it will work,

I was thinking when he said si/sir that the sir would be larger b/c of the motor.

Just asking cause I've got a 99 si with a Blue pipe,

but i was just checking the pipe size cause i would like to upgrade to a 3", but it wouldn't fit perfectily, but i'm pretty sure that his intake will fit your car, if i was in calgary this week, i'd help you install it.

the reason for the different models is b/c the si/sir has the side output intake mani, compared to the cx/dx they have it's a top mount.

are you sellin the spoon mirrors b/c you got jdm folding ones??

i actually did, and didnt find it much help, when i searched it i didnt find out anyting that helped me figure out weather this specific one would fit my car or not, maybe i just didnt look in the right places.

so either way, CK4500, this was in your car, was urs an si, or sir, cause if so then this would fit mine no problem correct.

just a Q, what motor do/did you have in your civic?

brettg i actually did, and didnt find it much help, when i searched it i didnt find out anyting that helped me figure out weather this specific one would fit my car or not, maybe i just didnt look in the right places.

The SI and SIR have different parts number, the 96-00 Si/Ex all the same intake, while the Sir/Si have a differnet number, assuming that the sir using a bit larger of a pipe cause the larger motor would require more air. Thats what I would assume anyways.

06-01-2006, 01:43 AM
well, lol, now im just confused, lol, i just want to no foresure if this is the right one for my car or not, i dont want to buy something that wont fit or work right.

I got an integra type r CAI installed on my SIR becuase of the larger diameter, its a tight fit but as long as it is side mount and is meant for an ek civic you will be fine. Its the same dimensions under the hood and the intake manifold is in the same place with both engines. If you want to be really sure cal speedtech and ask them if an SIR intake is the same as an SI. Speedtech: 250-7751

Yes it will, most of that stuff is quite interchangable, by the looks of it it doens' tcome with LCA's so you'll have to use your own, but you'll also have to get some new e-brake cables

Hey guys, sorry I've been away from my computer today!

Yes, I come to Calgary often. My next time in will be at DTP car show. My EK is in it.

I can also throw this stuff on a greyhound too. I don't mind shipping if the buyer doesn't mind paying!

And, the intake WILL fit Si/SiR! My hatch has an SiR B16A, and the intake worked fine. When F/I and now I have no need for it!

Thanks for all your posts, assisting with other peoples question!

That brace is not a subframe brace, it is just the brace used for mounting the sway bar. The bar in the middle is a tie bar. The endlinks are seen in the picture. I have some oem lcas if you need them Jeremy.

I assume the sway bar kit has been painted red?

What was involved with making the 2004 seats fit in your car?

BTW for the seller, if you sell the rear swap to someone that needs a new brake master cylinder or proportioning valve I have them. Nice items good luck with the sale.

CK4500

I also have some OE LCA's if the buyer of the sway bar needs them. I hated the Orange/Blue colours of the SRR swaybar kit, so I had it powder coated red.

The 2004 SiR seats required new mounts being fabricated, and then welded to rails. The orginal mounts had to be cut off.

Actually, it is a subframe brace. It's just not a heavy duty brace like the ASR or Comptech brace. It mounts exactly the same as the ASR & Comptech.

how much do you want for the SiR seats? would they be a direct bolt-on for an EG6 too?

CK4500
07-24-2006, 04:05 PM
They are not a direct fit to an EG. You'd need to reweld the mounts.....I am only guessing. I am not familiar with the EG mounting points. You might be able to get 3 bolts in.

hoamic11
07-24-2006, 09:37 PM
for the seats, you'll only get 3 or the 4 bolts to mount
