My brakes are toast so its time for some new rotors/pads. I want to order the UUC oem replacement rotors and I was wondering if anyone has had experience with them.

I also heard alot of good things about the Hawks HPS Brake Pads, especially in the squeak-reduction department.

Any feedback? :)

I've talked to tunerworks about them...their conclusion was that....why get UUC rotors when you can just get brembo slotted or drilled, and plated to prevent rusting for cheaper?

Yep  ...although since we are a UUC distributor we can also supply the UUC rotors :)

How about some 15" Brembos with bright red calipers

I don't have the money to get a big brake kit right now, especially since I would have to get new wheels.

Rob, if you can email me a quote for the Brembo "oem replacement" slotted rotors (front and rear) for a 1997 e36 318i at [email protected]. If they are more affordable than the UUC rotors like you said I will buy them right away as I need them before next Thursday when Shanni is bringing in my car for more installs. thanks!

Any suggestions for good brakepads to go with that? :)

Where the brake pads touch they will fade but the rest will stay black if cleaned.

Most rotor companies will coat them now adays, Brembo, UUC maybe, KVR does.
