I say this everytime, but for those who are new and think carfax works in Canada:

Just so everyone knows, carfax is essentially useless in Canada, as there is a very good chance it will be wrong. You need to use Car Proof. Carfax can be right, but usually isn't. It is great for US cars and definately the way to go for them. I have used these services countless times and will never go near carfax again.

Agree. I did a search on a car using Carfax and found nothing
while another guy using CP found something.

Carfax does have a problem of coming up with the right and detail information, but they are working on that. Other than that, I rather pay the 24.99 for a whole months of unlimited reports than Carproof's one time fee of 29.99 per use. Hopefully in the near future, Carfax would come up with more information on canadian cars.

Other than that, I'm pretty much happy with the reports I got because the details dont really matter to me but the major stuff or inflictions the cars gone through.

Thats just my preference.
