Ha You have to be more specific!

There are Several Si models in the line up.

Here is a 1992 jdm prelude line up!

Si BA8 FF 1210 kg (2668 lbs) F22B

Si BA8 FF 1230 kg (2712 lbs) F22B

Si 4WS BA9 FF 1230 kg (2712 lbs) F22B

Si 4WS BA9 FF 1250 kg (2756 lbs) F22B

Si VTEC BB4 FF 1240 kg (2734 lbs) H22A

Si VTEC BB4 FF 1270 kg (2800 lbs) H22A

Si VTEC 4WS BB1 FF 1260 kg (2778 lbs) H22A

Si VTEC 4WS BB1 FF 1290 kg (2844 lbs) H22A

Basically if it is an Si (VTEC) model, then it comes with a JDM H22A engine. which is 200 hp VTEC 6800 rpm. This engine Redlines at 7200 RPM and has a 10:6:1 compression ratio!.

To compare, USDM 4th gen SRV's have 190 hp ! smaller compressoin ratio and redlines slightly sooner.

And the USDM 5th Gen has 195 hp with the same scenarios.

Si (VTEC) Is a much quicker and better built engine IMO then SRV's up here.

hope that helps!

S = S
Si = SR
VTEC = SRV

How is a Si VTEC much quicker and better built engine than a SRV in Canada? They are very similar motors. 10hp isn't going to make a world of a difference (or any at all imo). Besides the higher compression in a JDM motor, they are pretty much identical.
And just to clarify, all USDM motors are 10:1 compression, with H22a1 having 190hp, and H22a4 are either 195hp (97-98) or 200hp (99-01). JDM motors are all H22a, and are either 200hp (10.6:1 compression 4th and 5th gen), or 220hp (11:1 compression 5th gen Type-S).

The main difference between a JDM motor (exc. Type-S) and USDM motor is the higher compression, and slightly more aggressive cams. Everything else is pretty much identical. I can get into more detail about every motor type, but that may take a little while.
