Hey all,
It's time for me to sell my s13. It just isn't going to fit into my plans any more, and I won't have time to drift it this summer, so I want someone to take it off my hands and appreciate it for what it is.
Details:
KA24E SOHC motor (As far as I know)
294,XXX KM on chassis
5 speed
Pop-up Sunroof
ABS (Works)
Cruise control (Works)
Engine has new synthetic oil (less than 10 KM on it)
Transmission/Diff have new synthetic gear oil (less than 10KM on it)
Aftermarket Exhaust(Loud, but still decent)
The Good:
- The Engine runs like brand new. It's very quiet at idle and feels very strong. The shell seems to be in pretty decent shape.
- The transmission and clutch seem very good, except for a grind in second gear. Clutch engages quickly and without slipping.
- Car feels quite solid going down the road, should have no problem driving anywhere.
The Bad:
-The transmission has a grind going into second gear. Once it is in gear, it's fine, but when it first goes in it just grinds a tiny bit.
-The hood is off the car, I have new hinges. Just need to be put on
-Car is Half primered, Hood, front bumper, both fenders, headlights, and drivers door are primed and ready to paint.
-Rust that needs to be repaired
-Obviously needs a paintjob
Stuff I have done to the car since I have owned it:
-New window motor, power windows and locks work
-New wipers
-New Battery
-New steering wheel, HUD button console, and few trim pieces like door handles, Airvents, others as well
-Rear 240sx Garnish
-Newer driver seat, but still has tear(old one was FUBAR)
-new window seals
-Car has basically a full interior now, missing rear speaker mounts
- I cleaned, scrubed and vacuumed the interior of this car before it was put in, basically I cleaned up the entire car a bunch
-Bondo work to taillight area, left rear quarter and antenna was all patched up looks bit better now
-bunch of other shit, no need to explain though
Overall I think this would be a very good project car for someone with some time to fix it up. It would be best used as a drift bitch for someone who already has a daily driver. Or, if someone was rebuilding a car, there are still a lot of good parts on this car that you can use.
