Factory Sub

Just wondering if anyone knows how the factory sub sounds? and if it's bad, just wondering where i can install a sub?

I got my custom enclosure done at soundsaround macleod trail and im pretty happy with it. i fit a 10" Type R back there and its perfect for our setup. Although the box cost me an arm and a leg! as does everything i do to my car

My factory sub in my MR2 sounds....alright i guess. Distorts when I pound it.

I've seen people install subs behind the passenger and drivers seats.

It sucks. It's a 5.25" woofer.... That's tiny.

Sounds ok though, just not very clean. Then again, could be my shitass exhaust drowning most of it out..:rofl:

I DIDNT THINK IT SOUNDED THAT BAD IF U HAVE A GOOD DECK IN ITS OK . FOR A CAR IN THE EARLY 90S ITS GOOD BUT BYE TODAYS STANDARDS ITS OK.

max, what did you do for subs in your car? any suggestions?

Im running 2 X 10inch Kicker Comps in my Mr2. I have them in S10 Truck boxes, behind my seats.

I have the stock premium stereo, it sounds ok. I am going to get a small little aftermarket sub though to mount in the stock location to keep everything clean.

yeah that's what i want too. a good clean look in the car. any suggestions on what to do guys?

I got a custom box made behind the passenger Seat with a 8" Kicker L5, very impressive Sub for an 8".....I wanted to go with the L7, but to do it properly there just really isnt enough room as the sub is too deep and needs more air flow.

i've got a bazooka behind each seat and theyre strapped into the back wall, also wen u take the t tops off u can jus put em behind the subs and then tighten the straps again. i think it makes alot of sense for the mr2.
if anyone actually cares i can throw picks up. they are pretty loud too.
