Monitoring kids via keylogger/spyware

A parent at the office want's to snoop on his 9 year old, make sure there's no FREE CANDY van men in his MSN etc.

Any recommendations on a good one? Problem with a lot of these is you don't know if they are legit and might be sending the info to a newsgroup or something.

Cost doesn't really matter.

Use the MSN chat logger.

On the main MSN screen
>Tools
>Options
>Messages
Then there Message History.

But you can only turn it on when the person is logged on. Obviously if the kid finds out he can turn it off or find out where its being saved.

I used a keylogger on my ex g/f once when i suspected her cheating. I dont know the name of it but i will get it when i get home. It logged everything from passwords to msn convos to taking periodical screenshots. Its not free but if you know what your doing it can be ;)

One day, I was walking home when I heard a fucked up sound in the distance. I kept walking and came up on a girl sitting on the sidewalk crying with a whole bunch of her shit all over the place, some of it was in a muddy puddle too. I took her stuff out of the puddle for her. She said her boyfriend threw her out.

I didn't ask why, because it's pretty obvious that she must have fucked up somehow. I can't say I felt sorry for the cheating whore, but at the same time, I think it's obvious that her boyfriend is a weak and insecure chump who's only way of asserting his masculinity is through petty things like throwing her stuff in puddles.

IMO, if you're a real man with a pair of balls, a woman is not going to want to diss you by cheating on you in the first place, nor would you ever have to lower your standards to date hoes.

I'm secure enough that I'll allow my gf to hang out with other guys, but if I get cheated on why not show the same respect shown to me?

Another way is to use msn plus plug in. You can set a History password that is different then your regular msn login password, get your kid to login and set the password so that he cant change it or delete any of the history.

Maybe that would work

There's always been 'parental control' software like netnanny etc. Install, password-protect, done. It'd probably do the trick fine. Not sure if you *know* it's running in the background though, Ive never used it...

Usually it does, you can choose to ignore it with your current spyware/virus scanner. All it does is log internal events it doesn't open a outside port into your computer.
