Magnuson Moss Act

I know the Magnuson Moss Act is for the United States but is it the same or not for Canada???? If so, what is it called in Canada?

You may want to explain that the Act is a law that protects consumers from voiding their warranty by using aftermarket parts. ;) AFAIK, there is no similar law here... might be provincial ones though. :dunno:

Anyone know if this is still the case? That in Canada we do not have a similar act in place to protect consumers.

I'm not sure, but to deny warranty coverage they would probably need some reasoning behind it. It also boils down to who has the deep pockets to fight in court.
