Probably because everyone wants a fairlady and imports them regardless of it being an Auto, and then realizes that Autos Suck for these cars. Why auto for a 300???

Lets see some pics.

Anyhow, I would say in the 10-12 range.

I guess you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out why someone would take the trouble to import a car and then turn around to sell it right away.....just like your job at McDonalds, its nice to make a little $$$$ once in awhile.

Dude, why you trippin, I just graduated from Fry Fryer to Burger Steamer, gaining anothwer rung on the ladder and 50 cents an hour raise.

But yes, I hope you make some money on the car. If it was a standard, you'd see even better returns

Hate to burst your bubble, but I put this through Edmunds.com, which isn't the #1 source for pricing, but it's one that I know lots of people use and trust, and gave it every option I could give it, and it came up with "Dealer retail" price of $6,465 US. Put it through Kelley Blue Book (more options available) and it came up with Dealer price of $9,095 US. NADAGuides puts high Dealer price at $7,725US.

IMO, you'd be hard pressed to sell it for more than $10k.

I do understand where the person came from who asked why you'd go through the trouble to register it if you're just going to sell it. Importing to sell is one thing, but why jumping through hoops and spending money on insurance and registry fees that you'll never see back?

just like how i dont understand why chev made an auto vette. it ruins the purpose IMO.

maybe someone got the idea that if it was an auto, it probably wasnt burnt the shit out of. so might as well import an auto one  :dunno: :bullshit:

my guess would also be in the 10-12 range as i saw a couple auto 300's up for sale on beyond in that range

How about the purchasing demographic.

Sell the car with the options that will get the most buyers, maybe they did not have a 5spd that could handle the power!!

i picked $8-$10,000

assuming that the $8 was actually $8

cant you get some kind of greddy shift managment or program that makes it shift better then a 5spd?
i could have sworn when i first joined this site i saw a black one for sale with this and everyone was talking about how it thumped 5spd's because of the shift program?

For drag racing applications auto Zs when properly built are faster than a 5 spd

also the manual is only .1 faster in the 1/4 mile. But auto takes the fun out of driving a sports car.

here's the deal.
I have access to virtually any car ever mada in Japan, that's no secret, everyone does. Timing is everything though, when I bought this particular unit it was the best in qualty vs. price at the time. We can talk how we all prefer a 5sp trans, but thats not the point because this car isn't. Maybe the next one will be.
As to why I went through the trouble of registering it in BC, to drive it of course!! Also I had new brakes installed, drive shaft bearing, tie rod end, tires, running light kit,BC VIN# installed...why so the next guy who doesn't know the ins and outs doesn't have to worry about getting the car on the road. He just takes it to his mechanic for an ispection(for his own piece of mind) and takes my old registration and bill of sale to ICBC and away he goes.

well i paid 15 for mine 5 spd, 89k absoulutly mint, with the rare pearl white, and a bunch of other shit done to it, i would suggest under 10

Yes You can get an Automatic Shift box system. It allows you to control how the car shifts, and you can generate some quick lap times!

I believe its 400 dollars but I can't remeber who makes them.
I think its HKS or Greddy.
