looking for a drafting position (done mostly process piping/design)

3 years experience, preferably downtown, looking to start immediately, Full time/contract

seeing if other beyonders know of any company hiring right now?

Is this a good place to look for work? I mean, are the people responsive to dropping off resumes, etc?

You betcha. I believe there's even a career fair at some time there.

If you don't get a job out of it right away, at least the companies know you exist and you have a larger list to pursue later.... or smaller if you narrow it down. It's all about networking.

up still looking, not to be picky but i prefer downtown offices and im more experience with the process piping portion as opposed to survey and architectural CADD.
