Cops just said to call my insurance company. They said that they cant help.

I live in Calgary. I am willing to make the trip if internet pressure isn't enough but I thought I would give this a shot first. I know there are a few people on beyond that have a real hate-on for scammers of all shapes.

The address in the first post has T5T 6L5. These 2 are on different sides of the city. Which one is correct? I'm sure for a small fee, someone can make the trip for you. Unless of course it's in the shady area.

Shouldn't you have his insurance information?

And shouldn't the police have record of this?

i was thinking the same thing, since you seem to have these info already, why not go to the insurance company and get them to deal with it? you paid good money for the coverage, why bother hunting this guy down yourself :dunno:

Well if several months have passed and it was never reported and there was no police report, it could be hard to prove to the insurance company. Dunno though.

we didnt file a police report (i know we should have but I wasnt present when it happened and the wife isnt familiar with this sort of thing.)

and she got everything but his insurance info (again hindsight is 20/20)

I just need to ge ahold of him.
