I am selling my 88 Honda Crx Si. Approx. 95,000 km's to 105,000 km's on DOHC B16a Vtec engine, 300,000 km's on the body. I have only had the car since the end of February, brought it from a family member in BC. The car has been only through two winters. The car is Alberta registered, and was insured.
The Good:
- K&N Air Intake
- 4-1 DC Headers
- Stage 2 Clutch
- H&R Lowering Springs
- Built in sub box in the hatch - 1 12 inch sub & 2 6x9 speakers
- One Way Compustar Alarm
- 2 Inch OBX Exhaust
- Window Tints
- No leaks
- NKG Sparkplugs
- I have all reciepts from the last owner
- T&T Honda had done the maintence on the car since I've had it
- 165-170 HP
- Tires a still new, about 6 months old and 80 percent tread
- The heater still works, but the A/C doesn't
The Bad:
- 3rd gear synco needs to be fixed(It just grinds sometimes, been doing that since the last owner).
- Engine smells like oil, but only burns through the exhaust for a few seconds during start up. (Started that the second day I got it)
- There is a dent in the front bumper, last owner bumped a small pole.
-The hatch doesn't close, honda got it to lock with some speaker wire that I had in the car.
- Rust in the wheelwelds
- Two small rockchips in the front winsheld
There is no stereo(just some of the wires) in the car, the last owner took everything out and I didn't have time to put anything into it. You only need to get a fuse, and rca's and everything else is in there.
The car was in an accident(rear ended from what I gather, from the owner before last), I am not too sure to what extent. Its in *rebuilt* status. I found out that the car was repaird with bondo. From what I've learned that isn't a good thing. Honda said that the car is rusting, and they said the back of the body doesn't line up. I tried to get someone to look at it, but they wouldn't touch it once I said bondo. I don't have the money to get the bodywork done.
This is a good car, just the body is kind of in crappy shape. If you like projects, here is one for you. It drives, its loud, and quick.
