Recently someone in my family left the lights in my car on overnight and now this morning i wake up to my car alarm going nuts. I've heard that boosting a car with computsar can fry the chip and damage the battery.

Any input on how i can fix this?

it will be fine, that's why the compustar has fuses, when you connect the batteries together just remember to disarm the alarm, and you should be fine.

there will always be a fuse on any alarm, dig under your dash and pull the fuse to disconnect the power to the alarm if you are scared to damage it

I donlt think u will have any problems though

I have a compustar and was in the similiar situation. Left my lights on when I went to work. A friend came and boosted my car, I didn't remove any fuses or anything and I have absolutely no problems with my alarm after it was boosted.
