rear speakers not working..

me and my buddy installed a new deck in my truck to day and we hooked everything up correctly to the best of our knowledge...but the rear speakers arnt playing ne more...we disconnected the fronts from the amp and tried to play the backs and they still were playing the fronts from compleatly different wires...ne suggestions would be awsome

My suggestion might not be what you want to hear but you could always rip out all that speaker wire and redo each connection from amp to speaker one at a time. That way you are 100% positive that there is nothing wrong with the wiring.

Or, save yourself the trouble of doing that and get a voltage tester. See if theyre even getting any power.
