Is it any good? Likes? Dislikes? Thinking about getting it. Or should I wait for the Palm Treo 700 with the Windows operating system?

yes, wait for the 700.. I went from a Treo 600 to a PDA Phone to a blackberry.. in that time frame my buddy got the 650 (it just came out).. he likes it.. but the OS has problems..

I love my 650, no problems, and I used palm os for years, so I'm happy with that....

I've got a treo 650 and have never used any mobile OS before it... i have to admit I'm not too pleased with it though. it seems a little clunky and there are tons more apps (useful ones) for wince and pocketpc.

there are also quite a few problems with crashes and freezes (tons if you use any cracked software).

The one thing i will point out about the treo 650 is that it's a PDA first and a phone second. If you're used to current gen phones, and all their features, you'll be pretty disappointed with the phone functionality of the 650. for example, just to use mp3 ringtones, or to assign different ringtones to different contacts you need to use a 3rd party program (which aren't free).

It's not a bad device at all, but I would wait for the 700. I wish I didn't lock into a contract with this phone.

Oh.. also, the camera on it is pretty lame. It's not bad quality but it's not a major plus to the phone at all.
