CD Changer

I've been experiencing trouble with the CD changer in my car. It takes forever and only plays about 2 cds out of the 12 it holds. It doesn't matter if its burnt or not it may or may not play it. Question is, Is is time to replace the changer with another one? Is there a way to fix this? or is it better to just get a cd deck for inside the car instead of hassling with a cd changer? Thanks

Personally I prefer having a indash cd player, going in the trunk everytime I want to change it is a pain. It'd be great if you're willing to give up your glove compartment and put on there.

I'm sure you could repair the changer, but it sounds pretty old, and it'd be far easier to just replace it.

yeah I was thinking about taking it out completely and just going to an indash player which is probably better anyways, we'll see I'll do some scouting of prices and figure it out. Thanks for the reply
