My XBOX 360 is fried

i probably logged no more then 100 hours in my console and it's fried. it freezes when it tries to boot up a game or access' the hard drive. it even flashes red lights now when i try to boot up the xbox.

i also got an extended warranty for mine, but haven't had a single problem with mine yet

by the way... how much are they now? Has the second model come out yet?

call 1-800-4MY-XBOX first, as they may still warranty it, and they rush ship you a new one.

There has been new variations of the xbox out since the initial batch. The fixed some problems. I bought mine at compusmart (premium) for 499.99 2 month ago, and they are still the same price. I haven't had a single problem with mine at all so I think i got the never variation of it. At any rate, if you planning on buying it get an extended warranty on it as well. I got a 2 year extension from compusmart which is a swap, they don't fix it just test it and give you a new one (takes a few days for the warranty process to go though)
