vinyl sheets

does anyone know if i can get vinyl sheets? sheets that look like your interior. if so, can you tell me where i could get any.

do you mean like sticker sheets? They have vinyl sticker sheets at Wal-Mart I think...

im going to make a box behind my seats and i dont want to use carpet so i was thinking if they had vinyl sheets i could put it on instead of the carpet cuz i think that would look a lot nicer.
so basically, just anything that look like the interior vinyl in my car so that i can cover the box with.

oh, you can buy vinyl at a lot of cloth stores and stuff like that. Fanny's Fabrics probably has something. I'd buy a can of 3M spray glue and then spray the box and stretch the vinyl taught on it so it's nice and smooth. It's not so much a sheet as a cloth in the sense that you're going to buy it by the yard or in a roll. Hope this helps.

Go to fabric land or fanny's fabric, and get some spray glue like mentioned above. It's really easy and vinyl looks sweet on sub boxes.

another cool idea is to cut out some foam in some sort of emblem ie. "JL" or "VW" or "H" or whatever and lay that down first and then vinyl over top so it is embossed!

:dunno: can you explain some more cuz im not too sure what you mean by that.

allright, I'm going to try to find a picture to upload but basically what you do is take 1/4" - 1/2" foam and cut it out into a logo or a design. then you glue that down to your box and then glue the vinyl over top. When you're all done there will be a raised or "embossed" section where the foam is so your logo will show through. If I can find a picture you'll know what I mean...

I've been searching for a pic for like 20 minutes but can't find one of what I mean...if you look around www.sounddomain.com at their member pages you might find something. Or else ask on one of their installation forums and they can probably help you out!

whoa that looks pretty good. thanks for the idea davidI. i think i mite try and put the honda symbol in between the subs so that you can see it between the seats.
