233whp and 228lb-ft of torque in 5th gear. The guys running the dyno left the A/C on:banghead: so I don't know how much more that is (just a couple of hp).
The torque curve is AWESOME. At least 220lb-ft from about 2500 to 5000 where it starts to drop off a little bit.
I don't have a graph here (no scanner, I'm living outside the city during the weekdays) but I can post it up this weekend.

Get supercharger on that thing and give it the power it was meant to have. ;)
I love Z's though. :D

sorry OT, how come your tires look so fat? Is the tire size right?
Maybe it's the wheel design. I dunno, it just doesn't look right to me.

Nissan's VQ V6 is outstanding, and that is why they use it in so much of their cars. Sucks they had the A/C on though. Where did you get it DYNO'd?

The wheels are 19s and the sidewall is 45mm I think. It might be the fact the hood is up so it doesn't look normal and the camera phone quality picture.:dunno:
If I go FI it'll be turbo. Right now I have no need to go FI because I have enough power as it is for me (cmon...440whp and a month of driving experience is a bad combination:rofl: ) and I have a 100,000 mile powertrain warranty on it. Superchargers don't make enough gain for what they cost, and they are pretty limited in potential.
Mods I am doing will be high-flow cats (picking them up Friday) and maybe an exhaust if I don't think the combination of the two will be too loud. A plenum spacer (5/16ths, probably) and I guess an intake (cmon... everyone does 'em! ;)) Cats are maybe 10whp, the plenum spacer 15-20whp, and the intake 4-5whp. Mods are obviously not linear so maybe I'll see 25whp? An exhaust could be another 10whp (the stock system isn't a true dual exhaust, so there are lots of gains available here)

Thats an impressive dyno. I know my dad's stock SC430 with the 4.3 liter V8 runs about 240-250whp.
Z's are powerful cars and the torque is where its at.
Good luck on the future of the Z.

Awesome..time to take that to some local autox and track events. I wish I would have gotten into that when i was your age, you driving skills will go up huge after attending a few events plus it will take away most of your desire to rip around on the street.

Wow, those are some pretty good numbers. Is it on a dynojet? Powerband is exactly opposite of the last Honda I owned.
