Are you kidding me?!?? 200 lvl at the U of C is a first year class....and pretty much ANY first year class is a GPA booster.

GRST 211... it's all web-based, with all quizzes and exams (including midterm and final) on blackboard. What more can you ask for?

however; since everyone was getting good marks in this class; it is only completely web based in Spring and Summer semesters..

if you take it in Fall/Winter there is a 50% Final that is supervised in the Tri Labs of Social Sciences. You need to know plenty of terms for the final, so it can be kinda tricky - so beware :)

wow, good info. somone I know took it during a spring/summer and it's super easy (A+ guranteed)

so I thought I would take it during winter to boost up my gpa..... Now with this info I might drop it - not in the mood of memorizing useless vocabularies.....

yeah be careful with GRST!! i know someone who got screwed because she was under the impression it was all web based. she took it in a winter semester, and never bothered to touch the course till the middle of jan when the first quiz was coming due. she was horrified to see that it had changed it's structure, and the final was supervised! att his time it was too late to drop the course. she ended up gettin a C+ - so GRST is awesome in spring/summer.. shitty in fall/winter

Also - GEOG 213 with peter slezak is a breeze. he uses old exams, and has for years.
