View Full Version : Possible Downfall for GM?

The link below basicly states that a man devloped a cooling method (patented and invented by him), which he demonstrated to GM in 1989 in an attempt to sell the technology. GM then apparently 'stole' it, and now the man wants 12 BILLION in return.

GM won a court battle in 2003...despite the proof that one of GM's engineers had made up documentation, (making it look like GM developed it.)

If this man does win this court battle...and 12 billion...GM's going down.

Good, he deserves to win the case.

I agree...I just didn't want it to look like I had something against GM or anything.

But given the facts...it does kinda look like GM's guilty...especailly with the made up documents.

Without a doubt GM is guilty, the guy had patents, you can't get around that, he must of had a really shitty lawyer if he lost the first case.

A reverse flow cooling system with a vent for vapors? This isn't anything that an engineering student with a heat transfer course couldn't come up with. Counterflow is used all the time in heat exchangers.
