My co-worker let me take it out with him. It's got 3.55's, exhaust, pullies.
Torque, that's what is it! haha.
I was going west on Heratige and turning north on Blackfoot when I got on the gas coming out of the turn. The rear came around big time and I overcorrected like a mofo 2 times with me on the gas and the owner in the passenger seat. "What the hell are you doing?" he says.
After many appologies by me latter, we're parked again at work.

I think I need a 5L.:D

A person can get addicted to torque real easy, so beware. Its a disease. Ive already got the car-mod disease, and the clap ;) , so i dont need anymore

Buhahahahahahahaha! My evil plan is working...

And thats basically stock. The aftermarket is retarded... anything from turbo kits, to suspension to brakes, heads...
Cheap and fast :)
You should try my 5.7;) (but you wont...:) )

This one I drove today had a really nice shifter kit and some suspension work too. 250,000km.

www.tomak.net is not helping this urge either. Mid 13's with headers, exhaust, pulleys, tires and 200,000km!

http://www.members.tripod.com/tomak3/page3.html

I'd want to find one with 100k - 160k km as an LX w/ trunk. Not black.

tell me if you see one for sale please.

THREE40SEVEN, what's you time and mods please.

If interesting in 5.0's you may be interested in Thunderbird S/C's
315 Ft-Pounds Stock, and thats out of an older generation motor, newer ones are even faster.

12.60 with shit valve springs @3500 lbs. My power dropped off at 5300rpm on the dyno, which made me dig into the engine. The combo of parts should peak at 5800-6000, and i found that where i should have had 120lbs on the seat im at about 80lbs(spring pressure). Not good... This was the result of the shop who rebuilt my heads and never checked installed height.
New springs correctly installed should fire me into the low 12's, MAYBE high 11's.
She's a bored and stoked 302 with ported edelbrock rpms, holley intake, approx 10:1 compression, exhaust, 30lb squirters, tremec tko transmission and a whole lot of other shit.
I daily drive her from spring till fall.

What are your mod plans 4wheeldrift? I know you're focusing on solo2 and such, but I'm guessing exhaust is a must because it's pretty cheap and sounds so good.

I'd guess suspension ranks high for solo...that combined with sticky rubber and wide wheels should work wonders.

The car is very stock at the moment, but so far I've already got subframe connectors and a ford motorsports front strut tower brace that I got from the guy I bought the car off ot. They aren't on the car yet though. The car has a 3.55 rear end wtih a clutch type LSD out of a '91 GT in it. Most of my plans for the forseeable future are things that need to be replaced on the car anyways. Stainless brake lines, MSD ignition, ford racing plug wires (the car still has the original coil and plug wires on it  ). New wheels and rubber for sure by august for the Canadian National Autoslalom Championships. Definetly an exhaust within the next couple months (since the stock system looks more like swiss cheese), not sure what yet though. The car will be getting a four point rollover bar and a 5 point harness on the drivers side before may, and one of the Evo 2s out of my subie will be going into the stang as well.

Beyond that, there is a hard core suspension in my future, though probably not till next year. Either a griggs racing setup or maximum motorsports, different shocks and springs. A brake upgrade is at the top of my list, since the car will be seeing extensive track use (the stock brakes SUCK). A built motor next year probably, not quite sure if I'm gonna stay NA or go for a blower or turbo. A 347 stroker is a definite possiblity. Eventually, the four point rollbar will get turned into a full cage as well, with the intent on road racing the car.

I'm not looking too far ahead just yet, concentrating on getting the car ready to go for this year, fixing the stuff that needs to be fixed immediately to get the car ready and competitive, learning the car while its still close to stock. Developing the car is a season in the future still, developing the driver is now :D :burnout:

My friends and I were looking into doing this on one of their cars, and every mechanic we spoke to said that this setup had some reliablilty problems, or that it was just a bad idea. Isnt there a slightly smaller "stroker" kit like 343 or something?
hehe, 2 of my buddies own 91-93 mustang GT's, ones all show.. the other ones all go :)

There are at least 2 TT Fox bodys in Calgary. Toma has one, and there was one at the last Beyond cruise.
