I thinkin of buying a 1992 Honda Civic DX hatchback for my new car. It 4,900$ and only 129k kilometers.. I think it can look great with nice wheels and a kit (C-West kit from ImportAdrenaline).. but I know they are pretty slow, and its an automatic :/

I was wondering.. for say.. 2000$ how fast could I get it?? would it be able to beat most stock cars??

Pretty good price but $2000 more won't get u much. It'll pay for your rims and a few other small parts.

Good car though

Careful, you don't want to end up on Max Boost's "what do you think of this car" list.

No, TalonVelocity should be safe.
Sam's hard drive is already bursting with names, and he can't fit anymore.

Talon, buy the Civic. They have potential!
There's a super pimp blue EG hatchback that's always cruising around the south.
He's done great things with that car :bigpimp:

for a couple grand you're not going to be very fast.

Also I wouldn't get the auto...i'd wait for a manual.

IMO of course.

Dx's are hurtin engines. At least with an Si you'll be okay before an engine swap. And you've got Vtec!!!

with $2700 you can get a JDM B16A2 swap with everything you need except motor mounts.
Get a manual though for sure because adding a clutch pedal is going to be a headache...

He's not asking if this is fast or anything,

he wants to know if its a good price.

And take it for a drive. If it all checks, then go for it.

Dam Bench car buyers! haha:guns: List is too long

Anyway, $2K won't get your car fast......but to enhance its aesthetic appearance is possible.......maybe get a body kit......and then get some decent SiR wheels or something......

$2k doesn't go very far mod wise
