I'm paranoid of running music too loud.. I like to hear what my car is doing. Comes from 3 years of DSMing, I guess.

My engine is all the music I need.
The rattles and clunks and other noises are the rhythm section.

I don't think having his music too loud make him unaware his car pulling to the side.

definately stupidity unless his system was so loud that every bass tone hit made his car feel like it was blowing a tire...but i highly doubt that

Nope sorry, couldn't happen..... unlesss he's one of those people that has to wear a hockey helmet daily.

I've had a blowout on the highway. You could have 100% hearing loss and you'd know.

If he couldn't feel that his tire was blown the second it happened he should never be allowed to drive again.

Yeah I wasn't debating that someone couldn't ride on a rim and tear the shit out of it (even though they'd be an idiot fo rdoing it), I was stating that it'd be impossible to have blow out on the highway and not notice because of loud music.

My system is always cranked... I figure that just because I can hear it breaking, doesn't mean its any less broken... so I may as well enjoy my music.

:werd: That's what I usually do. But if the top is off and I'm at a red light, I usually turn it down out of courtesy...unless there's no one around of course ;)

I had mudvayne playing at a stoplight once with my windows down/sunroof open. Minivan beside me, 4? year old beside mom.

Kid starts crying.

I turned it down, was so embarassed lol. Now it's only turned up half as loud.

I saw a picture (ill see if i can find it) this guy was towing his Sport Track (Ford Explorer w/ a bed) and left it in gear. After about 10 k he noticed sparks flying, he had worn his wheels down to almost half way the rim.

That guy must have been either drunk or stoned, there is no way you couldnt feel that, you take a little chunk out and make your wheels not perfectly round you can feel it. Not to mention the huge shaking when it blows

:guns:
