Best thing to do man is this. Get some quotes from some shipping companys. Find the one that suits you best. Get the destination to be a TERMINAL in Montana (I believe that Shelby/Great Falls has them). Once it arrives, you and a friend drive down there to get the car and drive it back. This is the most cost effective/practical way of doing this.

If there is a terminal in Coer D'alene, Idaho, it's a pretty quick drive there.

Shipping within the US is alot cheaper than having a bonded shipper bring it accross the border.

1st you better make sure the car is admissable into canada.
2nd you can have a car shipped on a truck from florida for 1850 US plus you will have to pay gst, duty, ac tax, brokerage fees, and if the car is not older than 15 years it will have to go through the RIV program. real pain in the a$$. if it is older than 15 years then it will only have to pass an OOP inspection.
3rd if you tend to drive this car back and over the border and it is not admisable they wont let you cross.
4th if it is admissable and you are driving it accross the border you will need to notify the us border crossing 72 hrs before the car reaches the border and will have had to fax all pertinent information to them as well.

how much cheaper is it to actually do this? (ship to montana and drive over the border). i got a quote from a shipping company from seattle to calgary and it was 1200 US. i thought that was a bit steep

*MOD EDIT* No contact info allowed for non-sponsors

That is the shipping company that is on ebay, and I agree with xtreme prelude you better make sure that this car can even come into Canada nothing will piss you off more than getting to the boarder and being told the car can't come in and you having to leave it at the border. Either way good luck it looks like a sweet car.

Nice car... never seen one before. But yeah, what year is it? Might not be as easy as you think to get it in.

What year is the car man? If it isn't 15 years old it will be impossible to register for on road use, you could only bring it to the track.

Have you checked up a lot on this car? The hood doesn't line up at all on either side.

Good luck buying it, that's a hot car. (aren't those S15 headlights?)

If you need help with paper work let me know. I know a guy in Kelowna that imports vehicles from the us for a living and does paper work for others.

Have you done any searchs for shipping companies , I know there is tons and tons of them that will easily ship it to montana (couts) ... It should cost no more than $1000 to ship her.. Have you test drove the car at all? Are you sure you want to get this car?
