Going to buy a header, there's a choice of ceramic coating or high-temp black (i think painted)

The ceramic coating costs an extra 50USD...

I don't care about the looks, but will it have an effect on corrosion or heat ____ (i can't think of the word...but stuff to do with heat!)

no i'd rather receive it 'finished' and ready to install.

Ceramic coating is better for heat, and you WILL care about looks when you start the car and the black "heat temp" paint burns off and leaves you with a rusty header and rusty engine bay.
