Earlier today my chinchilla turkey had to be put down after being attacked by my second chinchilla.

RIP buddy.

Sorry man. On the flip side, a couple more attacks and you'll have the beginnings to a nice coat!

On another note, anyone want a chinchilla and 5 foot tall hand-made cage for free?

TBH If i was stuck in a cage with someone i didn't like i would probably do it too.

IT's a reality of the animal world. Animals fight. I hope you forgive the other chinichilla for fighting, now you know to keep it alone.

In a cage 5 feetx 4 feet x 3 feet im sure the can have plenty of space.

I dunno, they got along until the other day.

I know another thing they do in the animal kingdom is if an animal in their herd is weak they will try to get rid of it. I am not sure if chins have pack mentality though.

Chinchillas arent pack animals, they live in families, and they arent vicous.
