Disposing Parts

I cleaned out my garage and found a bunch of old car parts for my old car. Stuff like old springs and struts. Does anyone know what the proper way to dispose of this stuff is?

you can garbage these, i think, but you can make a little money to take it to calgary metal works.

Put it up for free on the beyond marketplace. :) It'll save you the hassle of bringing it down to the dump and chucking it for $5 (if your load is under 250kg).

I threw some of my stuff out in a box, and the garbageman took it away. Not sure if you're supposed to - but it'll end up at the dump either way.

Doesn't PYP take old parts regardless of condition (But they don't pay you for them?)
