Neon SRT-4 vs. Impreza WRX

What would you rather have?

weeellll i said the subaru wrx just cuz my family owns one and i like it alot! and i prefer imports over domestics. i also prefer the interior styling over the SRT and also exterior.

....but lookin at the results, the SRT-4 would beat out the wrx in 0-60mph and 1/4mile timings, but it would also kill porshe boxster s, nissan 350z (supposesidly) and the price tag of the SRT-4 is only like 25k? right? for the price the SRT-4 is NOT BAD, hmmm but looking at the SRT-4 the rear end sits too HIGH soo i wonder how the handling would be on that thing.

but the WRX is still best choice over the SRT-4 in my books

I will cast a vote for the SRT-4, mostly just because I grew up liking neons and it is the highest on the neon hierarchy. :clap:

The Subaru WRX is the middleweight in the Imprezza hierarchy now because of the STI (300 HP).
But that STI will literally DESTROY all other sport compacts.

It has the beauty of all-wheel drive
And when the neon is dead it will still be alive. :confused:

I agree, you can't really fuck with the SRT-4 in terms of shear power but you also can't fuck with 4 wheel drive! :D

I like neons and I drive a neon and I think the SRT-4 will be awesome but I'd still rather have a WRX.

Subaru hands down. All wheel drive vs one wheel drive (IIRC the neon SRT-4 doesn't have a LSD)

WRX because soo much aftermarket support, The SRT-4 will follow but in time, and because the WRX looks 10 times better then a Neon.

it really depends on how much you have to spend and what you look for in a car. stock for stock no question the srt would be faster on the straights...... throw some twisties in.... might be a different story.

wrx for looks and the feeling. i drove one for 30 min, liked it a lot.... i hate my bmw now cuz of it :rofl:

hmmm why would i be joking? even though i like imports over domestics, i still give the SRT-4 props on the stuff it can do. 0-60, 1/4 mile timings. running 14's stock. me liking imports over domestics doesnt mean im a domestic hater. it just simply means i would prefer a import over a domestic, thats all.
