places to give in parts for money?

is there any place in town that gives you money for giving in parts?
i have two used transmissions just sitting in my garage that i haven't had any luck selling so i'd just like to give it in to a junkyard or something and receive just alittle bit of money.

Maybe call mister transmission or national transmission and ask them? I honestly have no idea.
