**** FOR ALL YOU GUYS THAT WANTED TO SEE IT RUNNING I HAVE THE KEEY NOW SO I CAN START HER UP FOR YOU****

hey guys im redoing the post on this car. its a 99 subaru impreza RS 2.5L sohc. its silver in color 5 speed. the car as most of you know was put up for sale as not running. the car IS running now. i need this gone asap. there is some damage at the back. but i do have a new bumper for it. my asking price is 6000 firm!!

if you guys remember from b4 there was a wiring problem causing it not to run. but like i said now it is running but its still alittle picky. the check engine light is flashing.

so more info on the car
its an american car.
it has 130xxx MILES on it.
it did pass alberta out of province inspection and if anyone of you guys have done it u will know how picky they are.
it has eibach springs gr2 struts.
and it comes with a painted rear bumper to go with the car.

while the whole issue with the car isnt quite worked out yet. the fact is it IS running and thats the big step forward. and the price far from unreasonable.. so i am extremly firm on it.

or if you wanna call me
call 2802624
thanks guys

yea it doesnt run cause of the wiring problem. i have no time to deal with this car. the motor is fresh so thats a no need to worry issue.
im not gonna part out the rims. im selling everthing that has to do with the car... with the car.

i forgot to mention that i have a new rear ver 4 bumper for the car and i also have a JDM ver 6 front bumper, that i will include with the car.

i didnt get payed out by the insurance.. it was my inexperince with winter and the thought that AWD was invinsible. soo there was no reason to go to the insurance... but i did have a police report and that ghey sticker they make you put on your car. just no insurance claim

i can give you the name and the number to the body shop that quoted me to fix the back it was only 1500 and that included the bumper.... which is at the shop alrady... soo i mean.. what ever the bumper cost.... is out.
its a JDM ver 4 bumper to. ;)

and the quote included the cost of making the bumper back to factory look ;)

and if worse came to worse.... a trunk lid is only 300 bucks brand new ;)

any clue where the wiring problem is? cause like if its an electronic issue it could run someone almost 2000 dollars to fix with boards and such... not that im saying it will make your price unreasonable or anything cause it isn't :D

the car is running now... the check engine light is flashing which is the only issue with it right now... soo its easy enough to solve with a code reader

ricosuave

why not take it to auto value and get the code checked out sp that we all know what the problem is?

btw, 130ooo miles is ~210ooo kms for those keeping score

What part of the US is it from? it looks like it's from the east...

yikes... no thanks.. but yeah check this link out...

In the case of a FLASHING check engine light it is advised that you shut the car off immediately and have the vehicle towed to your repair facility to diagnose the problem. The flashing light is communicating that the problem may be severe enough to damage the catalytic converter or other components on the engine.

looks like this car is from the east for sure, either that or it's one of those cars that you hear about on the news being pulled from new orleans and pushed up to canada to be sold. Judging by the rear bumper support, I'm almost willing to bet that's what it is. I say buyer beware until a carfax is produced.

Looks like a canadian spec front bumper on the car. What was the reason for swapping the bumpers? The car sounds like a wiring nightmare. any chance you can explain how it got to be this way.

Why does it look like the parking lights and tail light have moisture in them? What is the full story behind this car?

Wiring problems, water in lights = Flood car

:dunno:

FlySi

it doesnt take a genious to notice that its a flood car. look at the rust everywhere, the wiring problem is probably shorted wires due to water damage.

probably someone tring to make a few dollars off a flood damaged car. shady shady shady deal beware! hmm new engine too? can it be speled any clearer?

the car is NOTTTTT a flood car... the bumper hasnt been on it for over a year... it ran as a turbo car for a while thats why there is a new motor in it. the wiring problem i cant explain... if i could explain it.... i would. it also explains the large hood scoop.

canadian bumper because i sold off the other bumper. when in times of crisis you have to do what you have to do right.

if you dont wanna buy my car... or even bother looking at it.. dont fucking look then!

if you want the vin to run a car fax feel free to ask me.

i can garentee you this isnt a flood car... ive had it for almost 2 years now...

if your not interested.. than leave...
