which program can i get a picture out of a video from?

hey guys i have a video and i need to pull a picture out of it, how would i go about doing that?

i think windvd has screen capture on it

its not a DVD, i think its MPeG as it was shot with a digi cam

you can still play video files with windvd

just pause it on the frame, right click the screen and look for "bookmark/capture"

Yup. PowerDVD does the same thing. Or if you disable hardware video acceleration, I think prt scr works too.
